Update on Bryanne/Baby Situation

I had my surgery follow-up appointment this morning, and just thought I'd share that everything went well and what point we are now at...

I will finish the post-op medicines Dr. Nelson prescribed in about two weeks, and then soon after that Josh and I will be able to start trying for another baby. As I think I mentioned before, Dr. Nelson is going to put me on a fertility drug and baby aspirin in addition to the progesterone she put me on with this pregnancy, in hopes that it will help keep me from miscarrying next time. The bonus is she said the fertility drug increases our chances of having twins by 5-10%, and that it has been her experience that when women who have multiple losses then do the fertility drug "God gives them twins". :) Amen! I will take twins! :) I told her anything up to eight at a time would be fine; I think the lady who had eight is a little crazy, but anything less than that, and we're good to go--- we want lots of babies; if I get them a few at a time, so be it! :) (Josh sat pretty quietly during this part of the conversation--- he's a one-at-a-time type of guy!)

Anyway, the good news is the tests she ran before my surgery to see if there might be a specific reason I have been miscarrying came back fine--- she said I seem really healthy. If I do lose the next baby, though, she said she will send me to an infertility doctor in Jackson, Mississippi. But, we are going to believe everything will be fine next time, even though I know we will struggle with being a nervous wreck the entire time!!

Anyway, I would like to ask our family and friends to pray for us to get pregnant without delay and with a healthy baby.
